Based in London, Francois Marmion is the managing director of Manao Ltd. He works with start-ups in the UK and in France and he brings 25 years of international experience:
12 years in Management Consulting with Ernst & Young in Paris and Chicago, where he worked on large projects for companies such as Air France, Orange, Michelin, Total, IBM, Ameritech, Sprint, AT&T, LVMH,
6 years as a COO of tech start-ups Global Booking Services (e-travel) and Poseidon (computer vision systems), where he had to structure the operations and develop the business internationally,
6 years in investment, where he was in charge of private equity and venture capital and private equity for a family office in London.
Francois has then launched Manao Ltd in 2015, based on his dual experience of managing start-ups and being an investor.
Having worked on both sides - as a COO of start-ups and for investors - and having been a management consultant too, he is particularly well positioned to help you on your projects, whether you are an entrepreneur or an investor.
His vision is to bridge the gap between entrepreneurs and investors thanks to a common language, clear strategies and robust business plans.
Francois holds a Master degree in Finance from Paris Dauphine University and a Master degree from Telecom Ecole de Management / National Institute for Telecommunicatons.
On the personal side, Francois is also a photographer and a sailor. He travelled to more than 80 countries, did several photo exhibitions - the last ones were in London in February 2017 and in Lithuania in 2018 about the refugee crisis - and he likes to sail and race whether it's on the oceans, to remote places or in the sun.
